Tahun ini, EISA Award kembali digelar. Seperti tahun-tahun sebelumnya, EISA (European Imaging and Sound Association) telah memilih perangkat-perangkat terbaik yang beredar di Eropa untuk diberi penghargaan. Khusus pada tulisan ini akan ditampilkan para pemenang dari kategori Mobile Device Awards 2010-2011.
Samsung memperoleh 2 penghargaan untuk Smartphone Terbaik (Galaxy S GT-I9000) dan Media Sosial Terbaik (Wave GT-S8500). Ponsel Terbaik tahun ini diraih oleh Sony Ericsson Xperia™ X10 Mini.
Sayangnya pada penghargaan tahun ini ada 2 kategori yang hilang, yaitu Ponsel Kamera Terbaik dan Ponsel Musik Terbaik.

European Mobile Phone 2010-2011 – Sony Ericsson Xperia™ X10 Mini
The Xperia X10 mini from Sony Ericsson is a very small and stylish mobile phone. Nonetheless, it delivers excellent performance with a comprehensive range of features such as GPS, Wi-Fi, 3G and a 5 megapixel camera with flash. The phone runs on the Android platform and offers users the full benefits of a much larger device although it’s touch screen size is just 2.55-inch (6.48 cm) . Its small size and weight and variety of vivid case colours make it perfect for introducing the fairer sex to smartphone technology.
European Smartphone 2010-2011 – Samsung Galaxy S GT-I9000
Based on the Android operating system, the Galaxy S is a ‘jewel in the crown’ for demanding users wanting to be connected, entertained and updated on the move. European Social Media Phone 2010-2011 – Samsung Wave GT-S8500
The Samsung Wave capitalises on the current interest in smartphones by providing means and applications for social media environments. The Wave is the first device from Samsung with the Bada operating system in connection with an Apps Store. Behind the stunning 3.3-inch (8.38 cm) AMOLED touch screen there is a powerful 1GHz processor. Amazing connectivity provides Wi-Fi and Bluetooth 3.0. Audio/video features include FM radio with RDS and an excellent 5 megapixel camera with 720p video recording and LED flash. The Samsung Wave is thin and very designed, featuring a metal chassis.

Garmin’s latest offering puts the ‘Portable’ into the phrase ‘Portable Navigtion Device’. Looking far more like a smartphone this ultra slim 8.95mm GPS features a 4.3-inch (10.92 cm) multitouch LCD display which will operate in both portrait and landscape modes. An external speaker is supplied for windscreen mounting and delivers clear voice guidance. The Garmin Nüvi 3790t provides excellent route guidance with 3D map views, junction views, lane assist features and also nuRoute safety features including myTrends, Garmin Connect, 100 Routes and other facilities. On-board Bluetooth offers compatibility for over 200 models of mobile phones with hands-free control.
